Dear Colleagues,

We are thrilled to extend a heartfelt invitation to join us in the vibrant and historic city of Beijing for the 15th the International Workshop on Magnetic Particle Imaging (IWMPI 2026 –- www.iwmpi.org). There is no better place to foster the future of our dynamic field than in a city that so beautifully harmonizes ancient tradition with cutting-edge innovation.

Authors are invited to submit either a two-page proceedings paper or a full paper (usually more than five pages) to the IWMPI latest on October 26, 2025. There will be no deadline extension to not delay the reviewing process. Accepted prodeedings papers will be published online in the Supplement of the International Journal on Magnetic Particle Imaging (IJMPI). Accepted full papers will be published online in the regular issue of the IJMPI. Contributions will be accepted only if the Word or Latex template is used accurately. Templates can be found here. The contributions will be peer-reviewed and published online in the upcoming Volume 11 (2025) of the International Journal on Magnetic Particle Imaging available during workshop.

 Important Dates

Deadline for submission of contributions: October 26, 2025

Deadline for author registration: January 25, 2026

IWMPI Conference: March 18-20, 2026

 Submission portal: https://journal.iwmpi.org/index.php/iwmpi/about/submissions

Topics include, but are not restricted to: Medical, pre-clinical, and non-medical applications • Coil and field generator design • Data acquisition and signal pre-processing • Signal generation, amplification and filter design • Magnetic field simulation and system modeling • Magnetic particle spectroscopy (MPS) • Molecular imaging and reporter genes • Nanoparticle development • Particle physics and simulations • Reconstruction methods • Sequences, acquisition protocols and spatial coding • Physiological compatibility, SAR and PNS • Scanner geometries and system design • Hyperthermia • Actuation of micro devices.

Beyond the stimulating scientific program, we hope you will allow yourself to be captivated by Beijing's rich tapestry. Walk in the footsteps of emperors within the Forbidden City, stand in awe upon the Great Wall, and discover the incredible depth of flavors in its world-renowned cuisine.

It is our great honor to host this community of pioneers. We are confident that the exchange of ideas at IWMPI 2026 will be as inspiring as the surroundings, making your visit both professionally rewarding and personally unforgettable.

We sincerely hope you can join us for what promises to be a memorable event.
